April deadlines

Pat AylwardOpen to any graduating senior with a background of community service. Deadline: April 16, 2018

 

UNICO NationalOpen to any graduating senior of Italian descent with a minimum B average and plan to further their education. Deadline: April 17, 2018

 

Ladies of Charity: Open to a graduating senior who plans to pursue a service oriented career. Essay, application and letter of recommendation required. Deadline: April 20, 2018

 

Progressive Dental: Open to any graduating senior who has exhibited scholastic and extra-curricular accomplishments. Application, essay, transcript and 2 letters of recommendation required.

Deadline: April 23, 2018.

 

PSSNYOpen to any graduating senior looking to pursue a career in pharmacy. Application, essay and letter of recommendation required. Deadline: April 23, 2018

 

FLRC/ Finger Lakes Runners ClubOpen to a graduating senior who participated in cross country and / or track. Essay and 2 letters of recommendation required. Deadline: April 24, 2018.

 

Karen PurtellOpen to a graduation senior who will continue their education (special consideration made for those studying the field of education). A short essay needs to be submitted with application. Deadline: April 24, 2018

 

The Fraternal Order of the Police: Open to any graduating senior furthering their education in the Criminal Justice field. 

Application and essay required.   Deadline: April 25, 2018

 

Margie Karpel Mills Memorial Scholarship:  Open to any graduating senior.  Deadline: April 27, 2018 

 

OFA Class of 1965 Scholarships: Deadline for all: April 27, 2018

  • Gary L. Faucett Memorial ScholarshipOpen to any senior planning a career in the military. 

  • Phyllis Boulas Memorial ScholarshipOpen to any senior planning a career in the field of service to others.

  • The Non-Traditional Education Award: For the senior going into the most n on-tradition career field for their gender or a job or school that wouldn’t normally be chosen by many. This career requires apprenticeship, on the job training, or private career specific schooling. 

  • The Vocational Education Award: Open to any senior who plans on enrolling at a technical college or vocational school.

  • Roger Keagle Memorial Scholarship: Open to any senior who will pursue a career in music education.

  • Rouse/Wagner Memorial Scholarship: Open to a graduating senior who plans to enroll at a technical college, vocational school or apprenticeship to further his/her education. 

  • Christine Montgomery Sinko Memorial Scholarship: Open to any senior who is planning a teaching career in secondary education. 

The Ken Griffith Memorial Scholarship: Open to a graduating senior planning to major in education. Application, transcript and letter of recommendation required. Deadline: April 27, 2018

The Mary Jane H. Doty Memorial Scholarship: Open to a graduating senior planning to pursue a major / career in the sciences and has overcome a significant obstacle to achieve his/her goal(s). Application, transcript and letter of recommendation required.  Deadline: April 27, 2018

 

OFA Class of 1967 Citizenship Award: Open to a graduating senior who has demonstrated a commitment of service to their community. Application and 3 references required.  Deadline: April 27, 2018

Golden Rule Fund: Open to ANY graduating senior who has enrolled into an institution of higher learning. Students must

provide proof of commitment (deposit receipt, letter of acceptance or letter from your school registrar acknowledging admittance). Application and proof of commitment to higher learning required.  Deadline: April 27, 2018

May deadlines

 

The Harmony Club: Open to any graduating senior involved in music their senior year. Application, fee and audition required. Deadline: May 1, 2018

 

Electric Council of the Souther Tier: Open to any graduating senior planning to pursue a career in the electrical field (including College, BOCES & Trade Schools). Deadline: May 1, 2018

 

Vietnam Veterans Patriotism: Open to any graduating senior who demonstrates a strong sense of patriotism. An essay explaining what America means to you is required with the application. Deadline: May 3, 2018

 

Mildred Faulkner Truman Scholarship: Open to any graduating senior with a cumulative GPA of 75% or higher and a history of community service. Students with the most financial need will be taken into consideration. Application and Essay required. Deadline: May 8, 2018.

 

The Janet Ellis Memorial Scholarship: Open to any graduating senior attending a 2 or 4 year institution and is a student active in their school activities, community and a strong sense of school pride. Essay, activity sheet and transcript required. Deadline: May 8, 2018.

 

Just Keep Believing Scholarship: Open to any graduating senior attending a 2 or 4 year institution with the intent to major in a medical or health related field. Student must have been active in their school activities and community. Essay, activity sheet and transcript required. Deadline: May 8, 2018.

 

Arnold Johnson Technology Scholarship: Open to any graduating senior who has overcome adversity and is pursuing a degree or career in a vocation or trade. Short essay describing challenges and how you overcame them. Deadline: May 9, 2018

Endicott Umpires Scholarship: Open to a graduating senior continuing his or her education who has participated in high school or teener baseball or softball. Application, essay, letter of recommendation required. 

Deadline: May 11, 2018

 

OATA Scholarship: Open to a graduating senior whose goal is to become a teacher or school-related professional. Application, essays, letter of acceptance and letter of recommendation required. 

Deadline: May 15, 2018
