AAUW (American Association of University Women): Open to female graduating seniors entering a 2 or 4 year college program that demonstrates academic achievement, service to our community and has a financial need. Application and questionnaire required. Deadline: February 7, 2018.
Association of Fire Districts: Open to any seniors entering a 2 or 4 year college program and pursuing a career in a community service related discipline. You must be related to a firefighter, be a firefighter or be an Explorer in a fire department. Deadline: February 15, 2018.
A Hope 4 Lyme Scholarship for Students: Open to individuals of Tioga NY who have been affected by Lyme disease OR are pursuing a career in the medical field. . Applications are done online. Go to firstname.lastname@example.org to apply. Deadline: February 15, 2018.
Chemung Canal Trust Company: Open to any graduating senior that has outstanding citizenship and leadership ability and a strong desire for a college education. Applications are done online. Go to www.communityfund.org to apply. Deadline: February 15, 2018.
American Society of Military Comptrollers: Open to any graduating senior entering the fields of Finance, Accounting, Business Admin, Public Admin, Economics, Operations Research (relating to Financial Management), and/or Computer Science. Application, 2 letters of recommendation, Essay, last report card and transcript required. Deadline: February 21, 2018.
American Legion Auxiliary: There are nine (9) scholarships available to family members of military veterans or who are junior members of the American Legion Auxiliary and will be continuing their education. Each application requires essay(s) and letters of recommendation. Please see individual application for details. Deadline: February 22, 2018.
NYWEA (New York Water Environment Association): Open to graduating seniors entering a college or university in a Bachelors program. You must be entering a program with an environmental focus for 2 of the available scholarships ($10,000 or $2500), or an emphasis on public service for 1 scholarship available ($5000). Broome Community College Foundations, Inc: Open to a graduating senior who is in the top 10% of their class or has a minimum 90 overall high school average. Applications are available till early March online at sunybroome.edu/scholarshipsonline.
Visions Federal Credit Union: Open to a graduating senior who is also a member of visions. Applications are available till March 31 online at aim.applyists.net/visions.
