Owego Free Academy Juniors, Julie Selover and Jenna Bergmann, who are in Advanced Digital Photography were awarded Silver Keys for their pieces entered in the Scholastics Regional Art Competition and Show. The students are now invited to an awards ceremony on January 27th.

The Owego Apalachin Central School District is now accepting registration forms for Universal Pre-K and Kindergarten for the 2019-2020 school year. Information and registration forms can be found on each elementary schools web page. Please contact either Apalachin Elementary or Owego Elementary with any questions.
The Owego Apalachin Central School District, together with the Board of Education are pleased to unveil our 2019 capital project for voter consideration. The district has sent out a special capital project bulletin that you may have already received in the mail, or will be receiving soon. The bulletin can also be accessed online via the district website or mobile app.

On Wednesday, December 20th, the Owego Apalachin Athletic's Department held a National Letter of Intent signing ceremony for 3 OFA Student-Athletes. Zoe Mahon, LeMoyne Women's Lacrosse, Tyler Phelps, Seton Hill Men's Lacrosse and Summer Pierce, University of Massachusetts, Women's Swimming.

Owego Free Academy Senior, Justin Hunsinger, is a New York State Education Department nominee for the 2019 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. The Presidential Scholar recognition is one of the nation's highest honors for high school students. Every year, one young man and one young woman from each state are named as Presidential Scholars. Justin is one of 25 seniors nominated from New York State.

The New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (NYSAHPERD) has selected Koren Kinney, OAMS P.E. teacher, as their Central South Zone physical education teacher of the year for the 17-18 school year. Koren is being recognized for her dedication to teaching Middle School physical education for the Owego Apalachin Central School District for the past 15 years.
