REVISED AND CORRECTED SCHOOL TAX BILLS

Due to an error made by the town assessor’s office, we are reissuing revised and corrected school tax bills for the 2020-21 school year.

The error was made in the original school tax bill calculations.  Exemptions were inadvertently removed on several wholly exempt properties that should have been excluded from the total assessment.  As a result, the original tax rates and bills were calculated incorrectly.

Revised Tax Bills will be mailed this week. Please DO NOT send your payment until you receive your updated Tax Bill.

DISTANCE LEARNING RESOURCES

The District recognizes that the education that normally occurs in a classroom cannot be replicated at home. Therefore, online learning will focus on ensuring students have the ability to practice and hone their skills and participate in educationally beneficial activities during the extended closure.  The goal is to ensure the work students receive while out of school is appropriate and valuable, recognizing it is not a direct substitution for in-school learning experiences.
