Graduation Rehearsal - Seniors only !
Rehearsal for graduation will be held Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. The complexity of our preparing for graduation exercises demands the presence of each participant. Please encourage your graduates to be prompt. Please arrive at the OAMS auditorium by 1:00 P.M.
Seniors and Parents:
NYS Department of Health (DOH) has announced that a number of restrictions no longer apply to school commencements and other end-of-year events.
In regards to outdoor ceremonies and venues with an indoor capacity of 5,000 or fewer, DOH has stated:
There is no limit on the size of social gatherings.
School officials have no obligation to conduct health screenings or gather contact information for tracing.
Social distancing and state protocols for cleaning and disinfection are now optional.
Unvaccinated individuals should follow state and federal health guidelines
Due to these new guidelines, only graduating seniors will be seated on the field - similar to previous years ceremonies. All family members and friends are invited to sit in the bleachers and surrounding areas of the stadium.
Seniors will be escorted to their seats by our faculty ushers. Seating for families and friends will be on a first-come basis.
I appreciate your support and flexibility through this process as well as this entire year of ever-changing guidelines and restrictions.
Just a reminder, Graduation rehearsal is on Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. Please arrive at the OAMS auditorium by 1:00 P.M.
I look forward to a great celebration of the class of 2021 on Friday evening.
