Dear Owego Apalachin Families, 

When people in our lives are struggling with emotional pain, helping them feel comfortable to talk about it is difficult, but can help prevent a mental health crisis. Learning the warning signs, knowing how to start a conversation, and knowing where to get professional help can make a powerful life changing difference.

We have heard from families that they need help in understanding what resources are available to them from the school district and the community. Owego Apalachin CSD has also partnered with Care Solace to provide an additional layer of care for our community. If you or a family member are looking for help with your mental health or substance use, you can use Care Solace to anonymously find community therapists or treatment programs matched to your needs regardless of circumstances. Care Solace is a 24/7/365 coordination service to help find local mental health programs and counseling services. Care Solace is not an emergency response service or mental health services provider.
