The Owego Apalachin Music Department had a special guest visit and instruct African Drum and Dance sessions for Owego Apalachin Middle School and Owego Free Academy students.

Iddi Abdulai is a performer, educator, drummer, and dancer, from Accra, Ghana. Now living in Bloomingdale, IL, he performs with the Chicago-based Muntu Dance Theatre Company, one of the oldest African dance performing companies in the United States. Growing up, Iddi performed across West Africa, immersing himself in the art of drumming and dance in many countries, including Senegal, Mali, Liberia, and Guinea. He enjoys teaching all ages.
