We’re hosting a Lifeguard Certification Class this May. If you're looking for a rewarding job that keeps you active and helps keep our community safe, this is your chance.
Mandatory Training Dates
You must attend all sessions to qualify:
Thursday, May 21st: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Skills Assessment)
Friday, May 22nd: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday, May 23rd: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Prerequisites
Before you dive in, make sure you meet the following requirements:
Age: Must be at least 15 years old.
Preparation: Complete all online learning modules before the first class.
Swimming Skills:
Swim 150 yards continuously.
Tread water for 2 minutes (legs only).
Retrieve an object from a depth of 7 feet.
