Huge congratulations to Owego Free Academy Drone Soccer on their incredible victory at the U.S. Drone Soccer 2026 District II Championship!
Competing against 16 of the best teams from across New York and New Jersey at the Wildcat Field House at SUNY Poly, our students proved once again that they have the skill, strategy, and teamwork to stay on top.
Owego Free Academy qualified 2 teams to compete at the championships. Owego ‘Red’ was the overall champion, while Owego ‘Blue’ took 5th place.
With the WIN, the Owego ‘Red’ team earned their bid to Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida. There are 3 wild card slots available for Nationals, and the Owego ‘Blue’ team is one of the teams hoping to earn a bid.

By clinching the District II title, the team has officially secured its berth in the National Championship!
