OA Parents, Athletes, and Community,

I hope this letter finds you doing well, enjoying your time off over summer but also ready to continue the success for 2026-27.  OA athletics had a great previous year with many teams adding Sectional titles, STAC titles, the addition of new teams, and more importantly building relationships and lifelong skills through athletic competition.  This letter is to provide you information on the upcoming Fall season with important information and dates.

 Important dates and reminders:

Fall 2026 Season

Family ID registration:  Registration dates by sport are below:

For your student to be cleared to play, you must:

• Complete FamilyID Form which includes important health information reviewed by the Nurses office prior to each season; as well as mandatory policies and agreements.

•  Provide a Current Physical: Either upload the current image of physical to the FamilyID sports registration form or bring a copy to the Nurse's office. Physicals expire 12 months after the date of the health exam. No athlete will be permitted to play or tryout with an expired physical.

•  Please make appropriate plans with your Primary Care Physician to have these physicals completed

• ** Health Updates are a NY state mandate and are a different form than the sports physical.  These are mandatory for each season of competition and are not subject to a waiver.  This form is included on your FamilyID online registration.

• ** No student-athlete will be allowed to participate on the first day of practice unless ALL of the required documents are reviewed and signed; and all health forms are current.

Physicals:  All athletes must have a current up to date physical prior to starting practice.

UHS will be providing in person physicals on the following date at the school for any athletes that need an update prior to the start of the season.

Thursday August 13th from 9-12 in the OAMS nurses office.

Registration Information- Please pay attention to the dates for each level.

Family ID Registration Opens for:

• All Varsity/JV Sports 7/27/2026

• All  Modified Sports: 8/10/2026

*Registration dates are based on the start date for each level/sport. Health updates cannot be submitted more than 30 days prior to the first practice. This is why there are different registration open dates for different sports/levels.

Official Fall 2026 Season Start Dates:
