Summer Enrichment Info
Daily Schedule (Unless Otherwise Noted)
Breakfast: 8:30 – 9:00 AM
Morning Session: 9:00 – 11:30 AM
Lunch: 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Afternoon Session: 12:00 – 2:30 PM
*The elementary Hawk's Nest Program is a full-day session from 9:00 - 2:30 daily
Transportation Information
Morning and Afternoon Busing: Transportation will be provided before breakfast and again after the 2:30 PM session.
Midday Transportation: Families are responsible for drop-off or pick-up if a child is attending only a half-day program.
All summer transportation schedules can be accessed through the My Ride K-12 app, available in both the Apple and Android app stores.

Summer 2026 Information
We’re so excited to offer another summer full of fun, learning, and adventure! Whether your child loves science, sports, music, or hands-on creativity, there’s something for everyone.
All programs take place on our Owego Campus (OES, OAMS, OFA). Please register your child for the grade they’ll be entering in Fall 2026.
Dates: July 13th – August 27th

How to Register
Registration Opens: Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026, at 9:00 AM.
Please note this is a change from previous years when registration opened at midnight.
Please have your child's student ID (lunch number) ahead of registering. Incomplete or incorrect student numbers should not be inputted.
Registration and Waitlist Requests Close: Wednesday, June 10th.
Final Registration Deadline: All registrations will close on June 16, 2026, to allow the transportation department time to finalize summer bus routes.
Class Full? Join the Waitlist: High demand for our summer sessions means classes can fill up quickly. If a class is full, please use ArbiterSports to join the waitlist. It's the fastest way to ensure you're next in line should a spot become available.
Transportation Info
Buses will be provided this summer before breakfast and again following the last program of the day (2:30 PM).
Families must arrange mid-day pickups and drop-offs for students in half-day programs.
All bus info and schedules can only be accessed through the My Ride K-12 app.
Bus schedules will be updated in the app each Thursday before the next week of enrichment begins.

Hawk’s Nest Summer Learning (Grades 1–5)
Dates: July 13 – August 14.
Time: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM at OES.
Details: A five-week program offering a balance of academic engagement and classic summer camp excitement. Includes Friday trips to the Owego Free Academy pool for swimming and water safety.
Meals: Includes breakfast at 8:30 AM and lunch between 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
SOARing into Kindergarten
Dates: July 20 – August 7.
Time: 9:00 – 11:30 AM at OES.
Details: A three-week, half-day program designed to support a smooth transition into school for incoming kindergarteners. Focuses on early literacy, routines, and social-emotional skills through play-based activities.
Meals: Breakfast and lunch are available.
Transportation: Morning busing is available; families must provide transportation for the 11:30 AM pickup.
The Nest: Youth Training Camps (Grades 1–6)
Half-day camps focusing on skills, teamwork, and fun.
Offerings include: Tennis, Swimming, Volleyball, Boys/Girls Soccer, Wrestling, Field Hockey, Flag Football, and Basketball.
Integrated with Hawk's Nest: If your child is in both programs, counselors will escort them to and from their sports sessions.
Families are responsible for mid-day transport if the child is not in Hawk's Nest.
River Hawks Rising (Grades 6–12)
Dates: July 13 – August 14 (Specific dates vary by class).
Offerings: Explore diverse topics including Carpentry, Robotics, Pickleball, Creative Journaling, Strategic Games, STEM challenges, Stream Ecology, and more.
Meals: Participants are welcome to enjoy breakfast and lunch on campus.
Please only register for camps your child will attend.
Soaring Sounds: Music Camps and Lessons
Programs include Intro to DJ, Summer Band, Theater Workshop, and private instrument lessons for various grade levels.

River Hawks Off-Season Training & Conditioning (Grades 7–12)
Modified, JV, and Varsity athletes can stay active with summer strength training and sport-specific sessions.
No registration required: Coaches will reach out directly to interested athletes and families with details.

OA Kid News Summer Enrichment Camp
