Sessions:
Daily Schedule (Unless Otherwise Noted)
Breakfast: 8:00 – 8:30 AM
Morning Session: 8:30 – 11:30 AM
Lunch: 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Afternoon Session: 12:00 – 3:00 PM
*The elementary Hawk's Nest Program is a full-day session from 8:30 - 3:00 daily
Transportation Information
Morning and Afternoon Busing: Transportation will be provided before breakfast and again after the 3:00 PM session.
Midday Transportation: Families are responsible for drop-off or pick-up if a child is attending only a half-day program.
All summer transportation schedules can be accessed through the My Ride K-12 app, available in both the Apple and Android app stores.

Summer 2025 Information
Welcome to Summer 2025 at OACSD!
We’re so excited to offer another summer full of fun, learning, and adventure! Whether your child loves science, sports, music, or hands-on creativity, there’s something for everyone.
All programs take place on our Owego Campus (OES, OAMS, OFA).
Please register your child for the grade they’ll be entering in September 2025.
Dates: July 7 – August 15
Transportation: Provided in the morning and at 3:00 PM. Families must arrange midday pickups.

Hawk’s Nest Summer Fun (Grades 1–5)
Full-day camp | July 7 – August 15 | 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM at OES

Includes breakfast at 8:00 AM and lunch at 11:30 AM.
Soaring into Kindergarten
Half-day camp | July 21 – August 8 | 8:30 – 11:30 AM at OES
A playful and welcoming introduction to school for incoming kindergarteners.
Focuses on early literacy, routines, and school readiness skills.
Students are welcome to enjoy breakfast and lunch.
Morning transportation is available; families must pick up at midday.
River Hawks Rising (Grades 6–12)
July 7 – August 9 | AM: 8:30–11:30 | PM: 12:00–3:00
Explore STEM, esports, creative arts, gardening, cooking, carpentry, DJing, and more!
Includes breakfast and lunch.
Please only register for camps your child will attend.
Soaring Sounds: Music Camps
Musical theater, rock band, beginner piano, and private lessons

The Nest:Youth Sports Camps
Designed for Grades 1–6, these half-day camps focus on skills, teamwork, and having fun! Offerings include soccer, basketball, tennis, wrestling, field hockey, and more.

River Hawks Off-Season Conditioning (Grades 7–12)
Modified, JV, and Varsity athletes can stay active and prepare for their upcoming sports season with summer strength training and team sessions.
Coaches will reach out directly with details—no registration required.

Waitlist Notifications: Week of June 9
Transportation Info
Buses are available in the morning and at 3:00 PM dismissal.
No midday transportation is available.

(New this year: Registration will no longer open at midnight)Registration Closes: Friday, June 6, 202,5 at 11:59 PM
If a program is full, families may join the waitlist through the same deadline.
Families on the waitlist will be notified during the week of June 9 if space becomes available.
Final Deadline: All registration and waitlist activity will close on Monday, June 16, 2025
This allows the Transportation Department to finalize summer routes.
