The Owego Free Academy Flag Football team plays in the State Playoffs vs. Northeastern Clinton at Shenendehowa today, Saturday, May 25th at Noon. The Owego Free Academy Baseball team plays in the Class A Sectional Championship, today, Saturday, May 25th at 1:00 pm at Maine-Endwell. Digital Tickets are required for entry - see details below. The Owego Free Academy Softball team will unfortunately need to forfeit the Class A Sectional Championship game vs. Maine-Endwell today, Saturday, May 25th. Due to multiple student-athletes participating in both Softball and Flag Football, and with the Flag Football team having a State Playoff game in the Albany area, today, Saturday, May 25th, the softball team does not have enough players to participate in the game. The district has been trying to work with officials from Section IV and New York State to move or adjust the game times or locations for Softball and Flag Football but no changes were made. As a district, we are very disappointed that we haven’t been able to find a way to adjust the game times to allow for our student-athletes to participate in both events.
