Owego Free Academy Baseball begins play in the Class A Sectional Championship today, Thursday, May 29th, at 5 pm at Maine-Endwell. This is a best 2 out of 3 series with a game in Owego on Friday, May 30th, at 5 pm, and the 3rd game Saturday, if needed (see bracket). We’re so excited to offer another summer full of fun, learning, and adventure! Whether your child loves science, sports, music, or hands-on creativity, there’s something for everyone.
All programs take place on our Owego Campus (OES, OAMS, OFA).

Hawk’s Nest Summer Fun (Grades 1–5)

Soaring into Kindergarten
Half-day camp | July 21 – August 8 | 8:30 – 11:30 AM at OES
A playful and welcoming introduction to school for incoming kindergarteners.
Focuses on early literacy, routines, and school readiness skills.
Students are welcome to enjoy breakfast and lunch.
Morning transportation is available; families must pick up at midday.
River Hawks Rising (Grades 6–12)

Explore STEM, esports, creative arts, gardening, cooking, carpentry, DJing, and more!

Soaring Sounds: Music Camps

Tuesday, May 20, 2025
Voters in the Owego Apalachin Central School District on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, voted to approve the district’s proposed 2025-2026 school budget of $59,769,964. The budget had a tax levy increase of 1.99 percent.
The final vote was:
Yes: 585
No: 297
In the second proposition, voters approved the purchase of 5 school buses by the following count:
Yes: 601
No: 278
The two Board of Education Candidates elected for the two seats were:
