May 20, 2022
Dear Owego Apalachin School Community,
On behalf of the Board of Education and myself, I would like to thank you for the continued support of our school district by passing all three propositions this past Tuesday. The school district is looking forward to the opportunity to improve our facilities and grow our academic programs. We acknowledge our school community's importance in students' success, both now and in years to come. We also recognize how our students play a vital role in advancing the local community and surrounding region post-graduation. We are excited about the opportunities that our new OA Career Center will provide students and local business partners. We continue to raise expectations for teaching and learning throughout the school district while enhancing STEAM offerings, enrichment, career and technical education programs, music, literacy, and extracurricular activities. There are many exciting opportunities ahead for OA Students.
June is always a busy and exciting time around the district. Students are focused on finishing up their end-of-year tasks, preparing for exams, and finishing schoolwork. They also enjoy many fun activities, field trips, picnics, and other exciting year-end events with their friends and classmates.
