It's that time of year when we are ready to share the final day of school for OA students. We have only used one inclement weather emergency day, and as long as we do not need to use any more emergency days, the last day of instruction for students will be:
Thursday, June 13th – Last day of school for OFA 9th-12th students
Tuesday, June 18th – Last day of school for PK-8th students
Important End-Of-Year Dates
Monday, May 6th - School Budget and Capital Project Information Session at AES at 6 pm
Monday, May 13th - School Budget Public Hearing and Capital Project Information Session at the Board of Education Room, OA District Office at 6 pm
Tuesday, May 21st - School Budget Vote, Capital Project Vote, and Board of Education Elections at AES and OAMS from Noon to 8 pm
May 24th and May 27th - No School for Memorial Day
Tuesday, June 4th – Algebra Regents/Local Testing Day – No school for OFA students except for those students taking exams. See the letter from Principal Schofield (https://5il.co/2jr4j) for more information about this day and other upcoming Regents testing days.

SUNY Broome hosted high school counselors from across the region to keep their districts up to date about new programming at the college.
Career Counselor with the Owego Apalachin Central School District, Tom Westcott says, “It is important that counselors are uniquely aware of what’s going on in our community, and in an effort to have our students stay in our community, and become contributing members of our county. And so, SUNY Broome plays a huge role in that. Having counselors up to date with everything new that’s going on in SUNY Broome is incredibly important.”
