The Owego Free Academy Class of 2024 Car Parade is Thursday, June 27th. The parade will leave Apalachin Elementary School at 6:00 pm and follow a new route to Owego Free Academy. This year the parade route will include Marshland Road in Apalachin. The full route is listed below. Owego Fire Department will be in the OFA parking lot to take donations to “Fill The Boot!” to help local families. We would like to thank the local fire and police departments who will be helping with the parade again this year. Events like these aren’t possible without their support and the support of the entire OA school community. Full Parade Route: Depart AES at 6:00 pm. Take Pennsylvania Avenue to Main Street, Apalachin to 434 to Marshland Road to 434 past Lopke's to Hiawatha Bridge to 5th Avenue to Front Street, Owego to Court Street to Main Street to North Avenue to George Street to Sheldon Guile Boulevard to enter campus and end in front of OFA. #OFARiverHawks #sOArTogether #OACommunity #OAPride #OATradition

Students in Mrs. Hodges' class at Apalachin Elementary School finished a project where they had to create a product to sell at the classroom Farmers Market. They developed a business and marketing plan, researched supplies they would need, how to request a “loan”, and how much they would need to sell to pay back the loan and make a profit! By the end, they all had products to sell, set up a booth, dressed professionally, practiced making change, and ran a fun classroom Farmers Market!
