We had the privilege of hosting our very own OFA teachers for our December lunch and learn event. Students learned about how to become an author and pursue a career in education. A huge thank you to Mrs. Williams and Mrs. Sodeur for taking the time to share their insight and expertise with us.

Owego Elementary and Apalachin Elementary have two (2) half-days of instruction this month. Dismissal is at 11:00 a.m. to allow for parent/teacher conferences in the afternoon.
The half-day conference days will take place on:
Friday, December 12th
Friday, December 19th
Please contact your child’s teacher with questions about your conference date and time.
The OA after-school program will NOT run on half days at OES or AES.
Boys and Girls Club After School Program:
Will run for 6th-8th-grade students on December 12th. There will NOT be an after-school program on December 19th.

Owego Free Academy art students went on a field trip to the Corning Museum of Glass. In a private guided tour,
students got to witness beautiful artworks while learning the history and context of many of them. Each student also got to work one-on-one with a professional glass blower in their studio to create a personalized glass ornament they got to keep! #OFARiverHawks #sOArTogether
