Employees from the Dick's Sporting Goods Conklin, NY, Distribution Center presented a large ceremonial check on Friday, October 17, 2025, during the Owego Free Academy (OFA) Homecoming Pep Rally.

The grant money is earmarked specifically for enhancing the school's fitness facilities. The funds will be used to upgrade equipment in the OFA Weight Room/Fitness Center, providing students and athletes with better resources for strength training, conditioning, and overall physical wellness.
The Dick’s Sporting Goods Sports Matter program is dedicated to helping save youth sports and providing access to the benefits of participation for young athletes across the country.
