OA Update: Please read the following letter from Superintendent Green highlighting administrative changes for the 2022-2023 school year. Click here for his letter: https://5il.co/1g48n #OACommunity #OAPride #OATradition

In order for our Transportation Department to prepare for the 2022-2023 school year, we are asking all parents to fill out the following survey to indicate whether or not their child will OR will not need Transportation to begin the new school year. This process helps us to more accurately plan bus routes. Typically, busses are routed under the assumption that all students will ride. On many routes, this ends up not being the case, and the bus times become inconsistent for those who are riding. Collecting this information ahead of time, and routing students based on actual rider counts will help to keep bus pick-up and drop-off times more accurate as well as more consistent. We are asking all parents to please complete and submit the questions below.
There is an option to select that you DO NOT need transportation, and that information is just as valuable in developing routes as those who will need transportation. **Filling out this information does NOT lock you into your decision for the entire school year. We fully understand that circumstances can and will change throughout the school year. Please make a selection based on your needs for the START of the 2022-2023 School Year.
If at any point, your transportation needs change, please contact the Transportation Office (687-7305) and we will be happy to work with you on the changes needed for your student. You do not need to 'Hold' a spot for your student in the event they may need transportation at some point in the year. Please indicate in this form what their REGULAR needs will be.
***If your transportation needs do not fall into the categories listed in this form, please contact us at the Transportation Office so that we can assist your needs. Thank you in advance for taking the time to submit your request
It is requested that the schedule you choose for your student is maintained for a minimum of a Monday – Friday weekly schedule. Changes can be made for emergencies only.
This is for initial planning purposes only - if this changes at any time, simply call the Transportation office and request a change.

Happy August, OA School Community!
As you begin to plan for back to school in September, we are happy to announce that the school district will be providing all student supplies for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year to all grade levels, K-12. No need to go searching for those classroom supply lists this year! The district will provide the necessary supplies requested by each grade level. However, if there are particular items you would like to send with your child, you are more than welcome to do that. Just know that all of the essentials will be provided.
Now that we have reached the month of August, be on the lookout for more back-to-school information. Everyone is always excited to find out who their classroom teacher is or what their middle or high school schedule looks like. The staff has been working hard to prepare all of this information, and it will come your way soon.
We will share important information from our Food Services, Health Services, Athletics, and Transportation Departments.
