Hello, OA School Community, Friday, February 9th, will be an extra busy and fun night on the main campus. It is opening night for SHREK the Musical, and the OFA Boys Basketball teams will host Seton Catholic. Those coming to watch the basketball games are asked to park in the main lots in front of Owego Free Academy and can enter the left-hand set of doors into the OFA lobby near the cafeteria. Those coming for SHREK the Musial will park in the main lot outside of Owego Apalachin Middle School near the Main Entrance to the complex. This will be where tickets can be purchased or redeemed for the show. More information about SHREK the Musical is below. Owego Apalachin Music Department will present Shrek the Musical on Friday, February 9th at 7:00 pm, Saturday, February 10th at 7:00 pm, and Sunday, February 11th at 2:00 pm. Come see the Owego Apalachin School District students perform in this tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude, and over a dozen other fairy-tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. OA REMINDER: Registration is OPEN for next year’s Universal Pre-K and Kindergarten. Children are eligible for UPK if his/her birth date is between 12/2/2019 and 12/1/2020. Children are eligible for Kindergarten if his/her birth date is ON or BEFORE 12/1/2019. **Please note that once your child is age-eligible for Kindergarten, they are no longer eligible to attend UPK. Families must register as soon as possible so that a screening time can be scheduled for May.
