Due to the forecasted rain and storms throughout the afternoon/evening, we will be holding tonight’s Graduation Ceremony inside OFA, in Reppert Gymnasium. The ceremony will begin at 6:00pm; doors will open to families for seating at 4:30pm.
Attendance will be limited to 10 guests per graduate. We will have overflow seating available in the Auditorium where guests can watch the ceremony via Live Stream.

OA Transportation Department Launches New APP to better serve parents and bus riders

The Owego Apalachin Transportation Department has launched a new Mobile App & Website for tracking student bussing information. This new app, called Traversa Ride360, is not only a bus tracking app, but it will also serve to inform parents of their students' Pick up and Drop off times & locations, Bus number(s) and Driver Name.
The app and website are live NOW, including current routes/drivers - and we encourage parents to log in and familiarize themselves with the features. Beginning for Summer Enrichment bussing, and into the new school year, families will no longer receive transportation information via mailed postcards. ALL bussing information will be available for parents to view via Traversa Ride360.
Note: Traversa Ride360 will replace MySTOP at the end of the School Year.

-Summer Enrichment routes will change WEEKLY and all updates will be available to view in Ride360. Parents must check their students bussing information heading into each week of Summer Enrichment.

The Owego Apalachin Central School District will provide two locations for Free Summer Meals for Kids and Teens 18 years of age and under. Meals will be available at Owego Elementary School and Owego Apalachin Middle School from July 10th through August 18th. Both locations are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 9:30 am for Breakfast and 11:30 am to 12:30 pm for Lunch. Other locations and times are available in Tioga County (see photo).

In 2022, the New York State Legislature agreed to fully fund Foundation Aid for schools. Foundation Aid is discretionary monies (funds that can be used for anything) and the largest single state-aid category for schools. This past May, the district received its final increase making the Owego Apalachin CSD fully funded. New York State has asked districts to solicit input regarding where school communities feel increased funding should be used. Please review the areas we have invested in and select those you agree with. There is space to add new ideas too. Thank you for your time and input.
