“We’re kinda going back and forth up and down the court here, we got our JV and Varsity teams combined. So they have different partners that they might be with at different skill levels. We’re putting some girls in some different spots where they might not handle the ball as much as others, but this is a good opportunity for them to learn.” Get to see some of the drills the girls' basketball team is working on in this segment of Practice Makes Perfect on Showcase Sports TV. https://youtu.be/NaAWcT78xRk

The January 2026 regents exam schedule is attached. As seen on the district calendar (and from our OFA January Updates email), due to a large number of students taking the exams on Tuesday and Wednesday, we will be holding exam-only days on Tuesday, January 20th, and Wednesday, January 21st. If your child is not scheduled to take an exam on those days and has not been asked to come in for review, NWEA, and/or to make up work, they will NOT attend school on Tuesday, January 20th, or Wednesday, January 21st.
Transportation will be set up for any students who typically require busing. Students testing in the AM will follow their regular bus times. Transportation will take students home around noon. Students taking a PM exam will be brought in by 12:15 pm. They will then ride their normal 3:20 bus home. The afternoon exam students will get a phone call from their driver about when they will be picked up. Anyone who needs extra time can still get a ride home by calling the Bus Garage at 607-687-7305.
Due to the small number of students testing on Thursday and Friday, we will follow our regular school day schedule for ALL 9th - 12th grade students on Thursday, January 22nd, and Friday, January 23rd. Any students scheduled to take an exam on either of those days will come at the normal start time and will be provided a testing location for each exam(s).
Please contact my office at 607-687-7301 or by using Let’s Talk!. Thank you all.
Sincerely,
Phil Schofield, Principal
