ICYMI: It’s official! 🎉 The FY26 Agriculture Appropriations bill was signed into law, securing $811,000 for the Tioga Regional Career and Technical Education (CTE) Center!
We want to extend a massive thank-you to Senator Chuck Schumer and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand for their support and for championing this investment in our students and our community’s future.
The funds secured by the Senators will allow us to expand our partnership with Broome-Tioga BOCES and transform the Owego Apalachin campus into a hub for workforce development. This funding will provide local students with hands-on training in high-demand fields right here at home.

We're thrilled to announce a fantastic new collaboration between Owego Free Academy students and the Owego Apalachin Family Reading Partnership! Students from Ms. Simpson's Graphic Design Class and Mr. McEvoy's Digital Media Class recently met with Family Reading Partnership board members to kick off an exciting project.
Our talented students will be developing new and updated marketing materials for the organization, bringing fresh ideas and their digital expertise to help promote literacy in our community. This partnership provides invaluable real-world experience for our students while supporting a wonderful cause.
