SUNY Broome hosted high school counselors from across the region to keep their districts up to date about new programming at the college.
Career Counselor with the Owego Apalachin Central School District, Tom Westcott says, “It is important that counselors are uniquely aware of what’s going on in our community, and in an effort to have our students stay in our community, and become contributing members of our county. And so, SUNY Broome plays a huge role in that. Having counselors up to date with everything new that’s going on in SUNY Broome is incredibly important.”

The current stores will be open through April 30th. Items do not ship until the store closes. ALL items will be shipped directly to the customer, approximately 3-weeks after the store closes. We have added the ability for staff and families to have items sent to their school building for pick-up.
Current products are based on popular items. We have added a few new items that were suggested after the launch of the first store. We have also added the ability to customize items with names and numbers. If you would like to suggest certain items, brands, or products for us to consider adding, feel free to contact us.

Due to the solar eclipse, the Owego Apalachin Central School District will use a modified early release schedule on Monday, April 8, 2024.
We are not in the path of totality, but we will be able to see a partial eclipse in our area (see the links below for more information). With proper eye protection and weather permitting, the phases of the Moon passing between the Earth and the Sun can be witnessed in our area between 2:30 and 4:30 pm.
To be as cautious as possible, we will dismiss students early enough to ensure they are all home before this eclipse peak period and allow them to experience the event at home with their families.
On April 8th, 2024, our district will run on a modified schedule with the following dismissal times:
Owego and Apalachin Elementary Schools will dismiss students at Noon. There will be NO after-school program.
Owego Apalachin Middle School and Owego Free Academy will dismiss students at 1:30 pm. After-school activities will be communicated separately to those students/families involved.
Students will be provided breakfast and lunch at school on this day.
